- Initially, obtain a quotation from us and confirm by telephone and email or letter that it is acceptable, together with your payment of a 25.00% deposit either by debit/credit card over the phone or a cheque enclosed with your letter, made payable to Logistica (East Anglia).
We shall then by email or post, forward our booking form to you for completion, signature and return, confirming your instructions and the identity of the individuals at the points of collection and delivery. For your security, will will only release the vehicle to the individual originally specified by you, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- The balance will become payable two (2) days PRIOR to the date of vehicle collection. Please note that all cheques must be cleared before we are able to carry out your instructions.
You may settle our invoice in full, should you so wish, at the time of the booking confirmation.
- We shall contact you the day BEFORE collection to confirm that all is in order and you wish to proceed as planned.
- On the day, our driver will arrive, carry out a check of the condition of the vehicle, complete the paperwork with you, note any further instructions and load the vehicle onto the transporter.
- During and towards the end of the journey, the driver will make courtesy calls to both named individuals at the points of collection and delivery, in order to keep them informed of the progress, in particular, details of any delays and estimated time of arrival.
- Upon arrival at the destination point , the driver will make contact with the named individual, who we ask, will be prepared to confirm their identity by way of photographic I.D. (i.e. Passport or Driving Licence), at which point the condition of the vehicle will be confirmed again, unloaded from the trailer and released to the individual, following their signature. The driver will then phone you to confirm that the vehicle has been safely delivered.
